Concerning COVID-19, and how it affects our school and upcoming events:
Hello USA Karate Academy Members,
The dojo continues to be OPEN. We are actively monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) updates and are following the protocols issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Washington State Department of Health. The dojo will close only if the entire Shoreline School District cancels all in-person classes.
Our staff is keeping all surfaces sanitized and all students must sanitize their hands at the dojo both before and after each class. We are not handshaking at all, and are showing appropriate respect to each other with the traditional bowing procedures.
Most classes at the dojo are small in number. If you or a family member are sick, please let us know and STAY HOME. We care about all of our students, and hope everyone remains well and free from illness of any kind.
Additonally, due to an overabundance of caution, the 2020 PN AAU District Championships has been moved to May 1st/2nd. The tournament will still be hosted at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Hotel in Lynnwood. Updated tournament materials will be available in the coming weeks.
Stay well everyone!
