Beginner courses cover the basic fundamentals of Karate-Do, which is so much more than kicking, striking, and blocking. These basics help students filter distractions, manage impulses, develop confidence and so much more, all intrinsic tools essential for success in all facets of life.

Intermediate & Advance Courses
In our intermediate/advance classes we take a deeper dive into the application of Karate-Do. The basic fundamentals continue to get sharpened and as a result students experience improvement in flexibility, cardio-vascular strength, muscle tone, and overall physical fitness.
Children: Power Class 6:00 - 7:00 pm
7 & up Blue Belt and above
Teens/Adults: Advanced Class 7:00 - 8:00 pm
13 & up Green Belt and above
B.B.C. (Black Belt Club) Classes
Our Black Belt Club courses are filled with exclusive content not immediately open to new students, please contact our staff for information about class timing.
We offer weapons training in multiple traditional Okinawan weapons, specializing in the Bo staff and Eku.
Filipino Martial Arts:
Sensei Irwin Batara offers a once a week arnis/self-defense class. This class is extremely valuable to our advanced students in learning applicable self-defense, and also in learning about Filipino culture.
(Must be a BBC member and provide own equipment/accessories).
Like the Black Belt Club, tournament training is exclusive to students who meet certain criteria, and is not open to everyone.
USA Karate Academy has a long history of being successful at tournaments in a variety of areas of competition. We are a school of champions and are proud of our many decorated local, regional, national, and international wins.
While being a member of our tournament team is not required, USA Karate Academy puts on two tournaments a year, one in the spring and one in the fall, which is for our members to enjoy and participate in. Info for those tournaments can be found here.
